Resurfaced

Some things take time.

Almost two years have passed, and a lot has happened, both personally and professionally. We were all still feeling the effects of the pandemic, but now everyone is back on the right track.

My health hit me hard right at the beginning of 2024, and I now have to scale back. For this reason, I closed the Eckernförde store in May and hired a new salesperson for the Kappeln shop. The plan was and is to focus on the essentials: the online shop, the workshop, and my ideas. I could never do everything right; something always fell by the wayside. Hopefully, that's over now.

Yesterday, I handed everything over to the new tenant. So, it's now complete, and I admit it was a good, the right decision.

Our workshop got new machines over the course of the last year, the last of which was delivered on Monday. This was also a great improvement, because after almost 20 years, our old machines were no longer producing such beautiful balls of yarn. They were starting to snag here and there, so an update was necessary.

And now the vacation season is coming, which I'm really looking forward to. 12 days of relaxing on the North Sea, lots of cycling, and letting my mind wander.

I'll also be posting about our "place to be" here from time to time. We always try to take a little break and spend a day or two at the North Sea; fortunately, it's not that far away.
