...we're leaving in a few hours. Our bikes still need to be loaded onto the car, along with everything else we have here – then we're off to the North Sea for 12 days. The nice thing is: we don't have a long journey and we'll be there in an hour and a half. Our daughter is looking after our house and will call the Master Prop*er at the end ;)
This year we don't have an apartment, but a tiny holiday home for two people. I'm very excited.
Of course, we have to take our two surf towels with us, because we're expecting Nordic temperatures of 18-20 degrees (just the right weather for us northerners), so we'll need a towel on the bike.
I'm really looking forward to open-ended cycling, relaxation, peace and a nice time to recharge my batteries, because 2024 hasn't been my friend so far.
I also have a lot of ideas and a "little" knitting stuff in my suitcase. Hopefully, I'll be able to knit again soon. Right now, I'm still holding back, but this new idea is coming with me on vacation.
